Our Work

What we do

We are a policy think tank focused on fostering economic, political, and resource governance in Africa.

Resource Governance

This refers the systems, processes, and practices by which natural resources are managed and utilized, ensuring equitable access, sustainable use, and accountability for all stakeholders. Governance refers to the norms, institutions, and processes that determine how power and responsibilities over resources are exercised, how decisions are made, and how different people participate in these processes.

Economic Governance

This refers to the system of institutions, processes, and policies used to manage an economy, encompassing areas like fiscal policy, macroeconomic stability, and crisis management, with the aim of promoting economic and social progress. Economic governance consists of the processes that support economic activity and economic transactions by protecting property rights, enforcing contracts, and taking collective action to provide appropriate physical and organizational infrastructure.

Political governance

This is about managing the state, establishing transparency and accountability to the people, and promoting a sense of nationhood. In essence, political governance is about managing the state, establishing transparency and accountability to the people, and promoting a sense of nationhood.
